My recent stay at Ferry Lodge was absolutely delightful. The cleanliness of the house was exceptional, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size and beauty of the property. The fresh bedding and towels added to the overall comfort of my stay. The well-maintained garden, complete with a decked seating area, provided the perfect spot for enjoying breakfast outdoors. The owner, Dympna, was welcoming and helpful, providing a thorough walk-through of the house and instructions for the heating system. The location of the lodge was also ideal, just a short walk from the Portaferry Hotel. I can wholeheartedly recommend Ferry Lodge as a great accommodation option that offers all the basic facilities you need. I had a fantastic experience and I will definitely be returning in the future.

The lodge at Ferry Lodge in Portaferry is just perfect for a family like ours! The 3 bedrooms gave us plenty of space for the kids to spread out, and the 2 bathrooms made getting ready in the morning a breeze. We loved lounging in the living room, watching our favorite shows on the flat-screen TV. And the fully equipped kitchen made preparing meals a delight. Oh, and let's not forget the amazing views of the river from the patio! It was like a dream come true!
Okay, if I had to pick one thing, it would be the lake views from the lodge. While they were beautiful, I personally would have preferred to have a view of the ocean instead.
